It is my philosophy that the more good tap instructors you study with, the better tap dancer you will become -- so sometimes I like to surprise my students with special guest teachers. I have been so fortunate myself to take classes from these incredible artists so I am always thrilled when they agree to come give master classes to my students. I think these smiling faces tell the whole story!
Big smiles, open arms and lots of tap shoes! We were all so happy to have Rebecca Brancato Barragan (kneeling) back in the studio. She always brings her warmth, charm and amazing talent -- look at all that tap love in the room!

Our first time dancing with my amazing guest instructor Mary Wall (center)—and we loved every minute. Her teaching skills, energy, knowledge and love of tap came shining through! We were all some very happy tappers!

It has been ages since we've seen the illustrious Melinda Sullivan. In a rare break from her hectic schedule, she stopped by the studio to teach a fun holiday combo and then treated us to an impromptu performance! When Melinda is in the house, it's not just a tap class, but a master class in pure joy! Check out Melinda's website and her videos on YouTube.

Wow! How lucky are we? Rebecca Brancato Barragan taking over my Sunday class during Hurricane Hilary! These intrepid dancers braved the storm for a tempest of tap!
